Australia’s SOHO released a new trailer for the Outlander series based on the novel by Diana Gabaldon. Unfortunately, all versions have been removed from the internet. Sorry to the folks who missed it.
As an alternative, you can still view this second trailer from Australia’s SOHO which is very similar to the ones released in the US (viewable here) but does not include the still images below.
Continue on to view glimpses of the exciting new scenes, showcasing your favorite characters. One particular scene sent hearts a-flutter, specifically Jamie in his first lip-lock – but it’s not with Claire.

Jamie does much more damsel-in-distress-Highlander_to-the-rescue fighting than kissing in this trailer. Following are a few scenes that may have buzzed by too fast.
Jamie (Sam Heughan) tries to save his sister, Jenny (Laura Donnelly), from English dastards. His heroic efforts are short-lived because of the villainous Captain Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) holding Jenny hostage. (Watch the kilt there, Sam . . .)

Jamie struggles against his aggressors – to no avail. He is outnumbered and Captain Black Jack Randall has the dirty upper hand.

We know what happens next . . .

Honorable Jamie stands up for Laoghaire MacKenzie and offers to take her punishment, opting for fists.

Claire watches from the gallery with Geillis. Don’t see Diana Gabaldon in frame, but she’s there somewhere.

At the end, Jamie shows he can take a licking and bows to Colum with a glint in his eye and a little blood on his lip.

On the night of the Gathering, we all know Claire attempts to sneak away from Castle Leoch while everyone is busy celebrating – everyone but Jamie, that is. She runs into him, literally, in the horse stable where he’s “hiding out.”

Could this be Claire and Jamie on their way back to the castle, running into a few over-zealous Scots? No one puts their hands on Claire.

Lovely Claire. Lovely Cait. Love these images of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) running through the forest – hauntingly beautiful, just like Scotland.

Similarly, Craigh na Dun is an unforgettable place. Love these golden shots of Frank and Claire on the fairy hill.

We’ve seen many images of Claire at Craigh na Dun but none so stunning as these. She arrives in 1743, looking lost, bewildered, and beautiful as ever. Why is she smiling? Has she mistaken Black Jack Randall for Frank, perhaps? ‘fraid not. We’ll have to wait to see what’s putting such a stunning smile on her face.

And she’s off in search of Frank . . .

Claire’s arrival at Leoch is suspicious, to say the least, and everyone is not quite as charming as Jamie. Claire faces off early with Colum when he informs her she is “a guest of Castle Leoch.” “A Prisoner!” she yells back.

Claire tries to settle in at Castle Leoch, under watchful eyes all around.

She learns how to curtsy.

And later, she manages to find an intimate dinner companion. Question: Could you chew and/or swallow across from that man?

Jamie’s not the only bold character in the books/series. We were gifted with many new shots of Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish) presented here in a collage – stern, professional, menacing, charming?

And finally, the SOHO trailer included a new scene not included in the Outlander novel – Frank (Tobias Menzies) and Reverend Wakefield (James Fleet) searching for Claire. Here, Frank calls out her name.

I’ve included single shots in the gallery to the right as well. They’re tagged as “NEW SOHO.” These miscellaneous shots are some of my favorites from the new trailer, starring our handsome Highlander, Jamie, and his beautiful Sassenach, Claire. Enjoy!
Claire looks fiercer than ever atop her steed – fashionably dressed, of course.

Jamie knows what kind of beating is coming his way, but smiles anyway. I think we know why.

He’s no monk. Jamie flirts with Claire. There’s that glint again.

I’ll leave you with this thought . . .

BONUS: A new trailer was recently aired on the Starz network. Thanks to Stacy Hampton for a few screen grabs for us all to enjoy.

Spot on Candida! Love your comments and screen captures. I was very happy to see Cait BE Claire, attitude and all. You go girl! lol
Yes, it was wonderful seeing such fierce pictures of her. Be sure to check back later. There are so many new scenes, I couldn’t get them all posted earlier, but I’m still working on them!
Thanks for checking in.
